iPhone Email Settings

To set up your email accounts on an iPhone, follow these instructions:

• Go to  Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts -> Add Account…
• Choose Other, at the bottom of the list, then click Add Mail Account
• Enter the account details on the next screen:
• Name – Your name
• Address – Your email address e.g. hello@mywebsite.com
• Password – The password we have given you for the email account
• Description – A descriptive name
• Click Next to continue, then you may have to wait a little while.
• On the next screen, change the server type to POP
• Under Incoming Mail Server, enter the host name we have supplied e.g. mail.mywebsite.com
• Enter the username with a + instead of an @ sign, e.g. hello+mywebsite.com
• The password field should already be completed. If it isn't, enter it again
• Under Outgoing Mail Server, enter the host name again e.g. mail.mywebsite.com
• Click Save
• You should now see your mailbox in the list of accounts. Click to open it.
  
• Scroll to the bottom of the screen and choose Advanced
• Change Use SSL to Off
• Close the Settings application and open the Mail application
• Choose the mailbox you just added and it should connect without any errors
