How to take a screen shot

If you have a problem with viewing a website on your computer, it's really useful to us to be able to see what it looks like. If we ask you for a screen shot of the website that you're having problems with, here's how to do it:

1. Open the website that you're having problems with, and go to the problem page
   
2. Press the PrtSc or Print Screen button on your keyboard. It's usually on the top row to the right of F12.
   
3. Open your image editing program, such as Photoshop or Microsoft Paint. If you don't have one, you can download Irfanview for free.
4. Open the Edit menu and click the Paste item.
5. If you're using Paint, you may be asked if you want to enlarge the image - select Yes.
6. Open the File menu and choose Save or Save As.
7. Save the file to your computer - if you're not sure where to save it, choose the Desktop.
8. Email the file to us.
