Insight Marine

Insight Marine provide a range of hydrographic survey and remote inspection services to the coastal, inshore and offshore marine industries. In 2008 we built their original website, and in 2013 we designed them a vibrant new site that allows Insight Marine to amend and grow their site along with their company.

They commented that we "provided a very professional service" and that they "wouldn't hesitate to recommend Iteracy to others".

Ibis Communication

We've been working with Ibis Communication for several years on their successful Icemarq website, and so it made sense for them to approach us to redesign their corporate website too. They had a very clear idea of how their site should look, and we worked with them to achieve that look.

Paul Roberts, their MD, commented that Iteracy "listen carefully, are very responsive and their output is very good."

Cornwall Sexual Health And Contraception

We work closely with the Health Promotion Service in Cornwall on public health and information websites. The Cornwall Sexual Health And Contraception is one of these sites, offering information and resources about all aspects of sexual health. We went through several rounds of focus groups to get a look and feel for the site that was engaging and appealed to all age ranges, and the client has a full content management system to add and edit text and images on the site.

Kernow Forno

Kernow Forno take their bespoke wood fired oven to events, festivals, fetes, weddings, christenings and family parties. They use an authentic Italian dough recipe to create a thin, crispy base for fabulous pizzas that cook in less than 2 minutes.

They needed a brand new site to launch their pizza business. We built a bold, colourful website which complimented their existing logo and spent a day taking photographs of their pizzas to illustrate the website. Of course we had to sample each one too, so we can honestly say they are all delicious!

Lanteglos

Lanteglos is a small community in south Cornwall. We were approached by a business woman who wanted to develop the area as a tourist destination, as well as promoting her own holiday cottages. She had a vision for how the site should look and work, and we translated that into a website with full content management so that she can grow the site over time.

St Giles International

We're really proud of this site, built for a renowned international language school with colleges in the UK, USA, Canada and Brazil. The site gets over 40,000 visitors per month which shows the reliability of our work.

The custom-built content management system allows them to control every aspect of the website, from managing pages and courses to administering the online booking system with its complex requirements.

Their Marketing Manager commented that "it was a pleasure to work with Iteracy for the build of our new website".

Acupuncture Cornwall

We built this small site for Jess Birmingham, a Cornwall-based acupuncturist who wanted to move beyond her first, free, website. We worked closely with her to get the site looking exactly how she wanted it, she supplied the images, background paper and Facebook and Twitter icons in the footer!

Corve Lane

Cornwall-based social worker Jenni Randall wanted to create a website to publicise her new book about a children's home in London, 11a Corve Lane. She wanted a site that would encourage people to share their memories and photographs of the home, and we designed a quirky and friendly site where former occupants can get involved in the project.

Tamar Psychotherapy

We worked closely with Cornwall-based psychotherapist Susan Irving to create a name, brand and website for her new psychotherapy practice. She wanted to use the Tamar river, the border between Cornwall and Devon, as a theme in the branding and we created her logo based on an actual stretch of the river.

Imagery was particularly important to her, and we trawled image libraries to find photographs that perfectly fit her style of working. In addition we wrote the majority of the text on the website based on conversations with Susan.

Health Promotion Service

We've been working closely with Cornwall & Isles of Scilly NHS Health Promotion team for many years, having built websites for many of their health promotion projects.

This website is for the service as a whole, and brings together all their external websites with an events map that shows events across their wide range of services, as well as gathering news from their websites and specified RSS feeds from across the UK.

Gripsure

Gripsure are the UK's leading manufacturer and supplier of slip resistant timber decking. As part of their re-branding process we designed and built them a new website in collaboration with Oracle Design.

The website includes a full content management system to allow them to add and edit pages. After the training, they commented that they were "so impressed with your web management system".

Aviary Court Hotel

Aviary Court Hotel near Redruth were recently awarded their third star and commissioned a new website as part of their renovation and rebranding.

The website features an interactive map showing tourist attractions in the area, and they have full control to add and edit pages on the website.

Flat Cap Beers

We're really excited to be involved with this great start-up Cornish beer company. They needed a site building quickly after their previous developers let them down, and we delivered this in record time for them. The site includes full content management to let them add new pages and edit text.

As well as a quirky and interesting website, the beer is fantastic too!

British Hand Made

Artist Christian Robinson came to us with his idea of a website showcasing the skill and creativity of Britain’s finest contemporary craftsmen and women. We worked closely with him on the design and functionality to make his vision a reality.

The website features a full content management system for both administrators and artists whose work is featured on the site.

Gloucestershire Healthy Living and Learning

We worked closely with Gloucestershire Healthy Living and Learning to develop a website to showcase their work and encourage engagement with local schools and colleges, and an integrated review tool to allow schools and colleges to attain Gloucestershire Healthy Schools or the Gloucestershire Healthy FE accreditation.

Both systems feature full content management to allow them to add and edit the information themselves.

Cornwall Healthy Weight

The Cornwall Healthy Weight website developed from three previous websites that we ran for the NHS Health Promotion Service: Weight Matters, Leap Active and Eat Some Good Food. The projects themselves were merged into one site, and our task was to create a unified look and feel for the new website, and restructure the site so that visitors used to the old websites would feel at home on the new site.

The site features a Google maps-based events calendar and an 8-week online weight management tool.

Roberta Hopkins Jewellery

Roberta Hopkins makes beautiful, unique and individual silver jewellery by hand in her studio in Cornwall. She came to us looking for a website that matched her style, she was heavily involved in the design process and she's very pleased with the result. The site features a content management system to allow her to edit all the text on the website, and to add new pieces over time.

Tony Foster

Tony Foster is an internationally famous watercolour artist based in Cornwall. He has created a series of 'watercolour diaries' in the world's great wildernesses. Travelling mostly on foot, by raft or canoe, his adventures have resulted in twelve major exhibitions, and material from seven exhibition catalogues is featured on this website.

We created him a content-managed website to celebrate the launch of his new exhibition, Sacred Places, and set him up a MailChimp account to notify his many fans around the world.

Square Sail

Square Sail own Charlestown harbour and shipyard in Cornwall, and run a unique fleet of square-rigged tall ships for film and TV work.

We designed and built them a new website featuring content management, an online sailing programme and a mini-site dedicated to promoting their marine film and TV work.

A P Bassett Solicitors

AP Bassett Solicitors are a friendly local solicitors based in Cornwall. They wanted more control over their website but were happy with the design of their old site (by Revival).

We used their existing design to create a new website with a content management system to allow them to add and edit pages as needed, and they're really happy with the result.

Women's Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre

WRSAC provide support, advocacy and counselling services to women and teenage girls who have experienced sexual violence or domestic abuse. They asked us to design a site that was appealing, friendly and sympathetic, with a content management system to let them add and update pages as needed.

The site includes a Google Translate toolbar and a quick exit button and advice for women about hiding their visit to the website.

Ya-Ya Online

Ya-Ya are a successful London-based event management company who wanted to extend their online offering.

We worked with them to design and build a suite of online event management systems:

• myweb is a branded event website with full CMS
• regie is an online delegate registration system
• howdi is a tool for delegate networking at events

We also designed and built their new website, launched in February 2012.

LostFest

LostFest is the annual arts, crafts and music festival in Lostwithiel, Cornwall. We designed and built them a visually rich and quirky website to go with their brand identity, in a cartoon style with a lot of animation and features.

The site runs our own content management system to allow the event organisers to update details and make changes on their own.

The Property Shop

The Property Shop are one of Mid Cornwall's best estate, lettings and property management agents.

They came to us looking to integrate their new Expert Agent management system with their website, and a new look for the site.

Revival Design created a new graphic design for the site, and we built Property Shop a new content-managed website using this design, which displays properties from their new computer system.

We also took photographs around Cornwall for the banners at the top of each page, including the ariel shots!

Pregnancy Sickness Support

Pregnancy Sickness Support are a national charity based in Warwickshire helping sufferers of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy and Hyperemesis Gravidarum.

They were unhappy with their existing site and wanted a new look and feel, a content management system so that they could edit the site themselves, and advanced search engine optimisation to help them appear in Google's results.

The graphic design was created by our friends at Revival Design and Pregnancy Sickness Support are extremely happy with the finished site.

Wiltshire Healthy Schools

Wiltshire Healthy Schools is the third in a series of websites we've built for teams that used to be part of the national Healthy Schools programme but are now independent.

The site runs our custom-built content management system which is so easy to use that the team at WHS only needed an hour of training and then created the entire site themselves. Among other features it imports relevant news for teachers from across multiple news sites.

They said that "the project has been seamless and run like clockwork. We now have a fully functioning website and are delighted with the end result."

Cornwall Community Regeneration Forum

Fowey-based planning consultants Situ8 asked us to design a build a new website for the Cornwall Community Regeneration Forum, a joint business and community initiative in which they are involved.

The brief was detailed and wide, involving news and events, community participation and providing information including printable PDF newsletters, and they had a very tight deadline.

We pulled out all the stops to design, build and launch this site in just eight days! They're very happy with and so are we.

Weavers Bazaar

Weavers Bazaar sell yarns and products for textile artists.

We designed and built them a website using our content management system and created a full-featured Paypal-based e-commerce system with stock control so that they can sell their products online.

Mojo Maritime

Mojo Maritime provide marine operations management and consultancy services to the offshore renewable energy sector.

They needed an exciting new site that they could add to over time. We designed a new look and feel for their site and built them a content management system so they could add and update pages themselves.

They commented that the website was "to our satisfaction and delivered in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend Iteracy to anyone looking for a new website with easy to use content management system."

Memory Matters

Memory Matters are a team of nurses offering therapeutic approaches to memory loss and dementia in the South West. They came to us looking for a new design for their website, and needed ability to update the site themselves.

We worked with Little Whale Studio on the graphic design and implemented our Content Management System to let them add and edit pages.

Neutron Fire Technologies

Neutron Fire Technologies Ltd offers a specialist range of intumescent coatings systems and fire and smoke penetration seals under their Firebreak label. They came to us with an existing website that they couldn't update themselves.

We added our content management system to the site, updated the design and added new features to help them get to the top of the search results.

South West Loft Conversions

South West Loft Conversions specialise in loft conversion and house extensions in Cornwall and the South West. They approached us to overhaul their existing site with a new look and concentrating on search engine optimisation.

After a thorough review of the site we restructured the site to make it easier for visitors to find information, made the contact details much more prominent to bring more sales leads and re-wrote text for all the pages with a search engine focus.

Healthy Gay Cornwall

As a small NHS Health Promotion Service project, Healthy Gay Cornwall wanted their design and images to appeal to a specific audience and highlight particular services. We worked closely with them to design a site that suited their requirements and gave them the tools to manage the site themselves. In 2011 we updated the look and feel of the site.

They said "Iteracy really made an effort to understand where I was coming from and challenged/ channelled my ideas into a site that I am really pleased with and find incredibly easy to maintain."

Cornwall Therapy Partnership

Cornwall Therapy Partnership had been managing her own website, but wanted to spend more time on their business and less time administering the site.

We designed a modern, fresh and friendly new look for the site, helped them restructure their content to make it easier for visitors to find information more easily, and installed our content management system to allow CTP to update the site quickly. 

Pedometer Challenge

You'll need your sunglasses for this one!

Designed to be part of the NHS Change4Life campaign, we created the Pedometer Challenge for Cornwall Healthy Schools. Users can sign up for free and start entering how many steps they take each day. The site allows them to form teams and join leagues, to encourage health and fitness in school children across Cornwall.

The site runs on our standard content management system and the Cornwall Healthy Schools team love how easy it is to administer.

The Lifebuoy Cafe

The new owners of The Lifebuoy Cafe in Fowey wanted a new, funky website to match their modernisation of Fowey's #1 cafe on TripAdvisor.

We closely with them to give the website a retro feel with interesting textures and backgrounds straight from the cafe, and a content management system to let them add and edit pages.

Susanna Stables Photography

Susanna was given her first camera at age 6 by her Grandmother and immediately fell in love with photography. We designed and built this site to showcase Susanna's beautiful wedding, commercial and portrait images.

The site includes a full content management system so she can add and edit pages and photographs as needed, resizes images automatically and makes use of jQuery technology to fade the images in and out.

Bellamama Deli

Bellamama Cornish Deli in Lostwithiel is possibly the best deli in Cornwall, selling a wonderful range of Cornish and continental produce. We were thrilled when they asked us to build their website because it meant we had an excuse to pop in even more regularly for coffee. 

We designed the site to reflect the classic feel of the deli, with an emphasis on good old-fashioned service and a friendly attitude. They're really happy with the result and so are we!

Skyfield Communications

Skyfield Communications, an award-winning Cornish PR and marketing company, came to us with a definite idea of how they wanted their new site to look, and we turned their vision into reality.

They returned to us two years later for a redesign, incorporating a Twitter feed and an interactive visitor poll.

The site runs our content management system, as well as event management facilities and an online payment system.

Telexsus

Telexsus are a leading supplier to the electronics design and manufacturing sector based in Buckinghamshire. They came to us for a complete website redesign and new look, with a tight deadline and sketches of what they wanted.

We turned their ideas into a clear, professional website listing their products, with extensive use of JQuery technology to incorporate animation into the site.

MGA provide professional and managerial expertise to children's services during structural and organisational change. With an important change in public policy looming, MGA approached us for a complete overhaul of their website.

We worked with them to restructure their website to face the new challenges ahead, and worked with Cornish design agency Revival Design to create a new look and feel for the website. 

Be Healthy At Work

Be Healthy At Work is a free NHS website designed to help improve the health of workplaces across Cornwall. Visitors can register and progress through an in-depth series of steps to achieve Healthy Workplace awards and get feedback from the NHS team.

They said "The website is really easy to use and update and I have been really impressed with the speed and efficiency of the team. Great support, help and advice."

SunSafe

SunSafe needed a fun and informative website to educate people about how to enjoy sunshine safely, which they could update themselves - particularly with latest events and news.

We worked closely from the existing branding of their leaflets, posters and stickers to create a colourful website which reflected the SunSafe style and clearly conveyed the key messages.

Media Spaces

Media Spaces needed to showcase the broadcasting services they offer for TV, DVD and web. We came up with an eye-catching corporate style for the website and commissioned a company logo and stationery to be designed. Their Content Management System lets them add to their portfolio and services as they grow.

Cormorant Hotel and Restaurant

The Cormorant wanted a fresh new website that promoted the restaurant as much as the hotel, and to tie the look of their site more closely to the promotional literature.

We designed and built them a site using our Content Management System to give them full control over the their website, including links to their online booking system.

Houlding and Houlding

Renowned Fowey-based artists Mark and Bev Houlding had outgrown their existing website and came to Iteracy looking for a new site that allowed them to sell their work online and manage the site themselves.

We designed an built a new site including a content management system for them to upload new paintings and update information about forthcoming exhibitions, and used Paypal as a payment gateway for e-commerce.

GOSS Consultants

Charlestown-based marine recruitment consultants GOSS wanted their website to play a larger role in their business, so we created them a new site which takes data from their in-house database and posts jobs onto the website in real time, then emails their clients with new job alerts.

The site also features a rich content management system, allowing them to update the site regularly and keep their clients coming back to read new content. We worked with Cornish design agency Revival Design to create the style for the website.

First Aid At Work Training Services

First Aid At Work Training Services had a website which wasn't easy to maintain, and with a look and feel that was dated.

We worked with them to produce a modern and clean look for the website, built a custom content management system and taught them search engine optimisation techniques to ensure that they get to the top of the search results for terms like 'first aid courses'.

Gilbury Farm

Rob and Caitlin Dean run Gilbury Farm, selling ethically produced meat, poultry and eggs. They wanted a website that reflected their natural and environmentally-concious attitude to life, and we partnered with local designers Revival Design to produce a website that includes online sales of meat and e-books.

They're thrilled with the website, which includes a content management system so that they can add to the site as their business expands. 

Lostwithiel Tourist Guide and Business Directory

The Lostwithiel Business Group wanted a website to advertise its members by promoting the town and enticing shoppers and tourists. The town has a reputation for its history and as an  antiques centre; the website was designed to communicate this while remaining modern and warmly inviting to visitors. The website CMS includes a business directory and events calendar, allowing the management team to keep the site updated.

They said Iteracy were "very professional from start to finish, they took on board any comments we had and proved very adaptable. We are very pleased with the finished result and would have no qualms recommending Iteracy to our members."

Absolute Touring

Absolute Touring offers small-group tours from Oxford of the Cotswolds, Bath, Stonehenge and Stratford.

They approached us after becoming unhappy with their existing web designers, and wanted to be able to update their own site without having to pay extra.

We kept their existing look and feel and gave them back control of their website.

Smartfix

Two years after we built their website, Smartfix came to us when they decided it was time for a refresh. We worked closely with them to meet their ideas for design and site layout, and with SEO engineers to implement improvements aimed at search engines.

The new site has a CMS so Smartfix can update prices and case studies themselves.

They described us as "what anyone would want from a web designer: fast, innovative, flexible, affordable."

Simply Time In Cornwall

Simply Time in Cornwall offers a fantastic selection of luxury cottages in Cornwall. Their website needed to match the  quality standards of the properties that they offer.

We worked closely with them to build a site that reflected the company ethos, the site features a comprehensive booking and letting management system with online payments, booking seasons, promotional discount vouchers and reporting. 

Fowey Retreat

Robbie and Sara Low wanted to create a warm and inviting website to showcase their stunning holiday home, where they also run religious teaching courses. We designed a site that serves both audiences, and allows them to update their pages as often as needed.

They said "for two absolute web novices you made the whole experience utterly painless, then fun, then exciting."

Plug Into The Sun

Plug Into The Sun are a successful company specialising in solar power installations. Their website needed to highlight grants and funding available for solar pv panels and provide technical information about photovoltaic technology.

Most importantly, they wanted the website to answer the most commonly asked questions so they could spend more time on roofs installing panels and less time on the phone answering questions!

Cornwall Healthy Schools

Cornwall Healthy Schools had outgrown their existing website and were finding it difficult to maintain hundreds of pages using Dreamweaver. We worked with them to build a completely new site structure with improved signposting for visitors, resource tracking and a discussion forum.

The Institute For Strategic Dialogue

The Institute for Strategic Dialogue is a network-based policy organisation working with global leaders in the private and public sectors.

They had an existing website under construction which was not being developed to their satisfaction, and came to us requiring a clean, professional design which followed their corporate style and a Content Management System to allow them to update text and images on their site.

Trewithen Restaurant

Trewithen Restaurant is an intimate restaurant in Cornwall serving freshly prepared dishes with food supplied by local producers.

With an extensive wine list, frequently changing menus and seasonal special events, they wanted a website reflecting their style which they could update themselves. 

SVM Consulting Engineers

SVM had an existing website which they updated using Dreamweaver™. The design was dated and inconsistent, navigation was unclear and updates were made infrequently because the method of maintenance created a bottleneck for changes. We modernised the design and layout, put in clear navigation and created a content management system with different user permission levels.

Now Editors can add or edit content while Publishers review then make the changes live. This system allows SVM to showcase their most recent projects and make greater use of their site.

Hall Of Phobias

Canadian author Patricia Pearson wanted a website for her new book, A Brief History Of Anxiety, that would stand out from the usual promotional sites. Using our expertise with user contribution sites we created The Hall of Phobias.

As well as promoting the book, it's a resource for the millions of people around the world coping with phobias, where they can add their own anxieties and read those contributed by other visitors.

The project ended in April 2011 and is no longer live on the web.

Simply Time

Simply Time is a successful lifestyle management service based in Cornwall. They wanted a personal, smart and attractive site to match their business, with a content management system so they could update their site regularly. It features custom-made to-do lists to help visitors convey their requirements and show the full range of services that the company offer.

Situ8

Situ8 are a successful planning and environmental consultancy based in Cornwall, who wanted a strong design for their new website.

They had clear ideas about the look and feel of site, and we worked closely with them to create a style that reflects the ethos of the company.

I Used To Believe

We designed, built and run I Used To Believe, a website which serves around 400,000 pages per month and was the winner of the Yahoo! Site of the Year award when first launched.

The site has since been featured in numerous articles on the web, in print and on TV.
