John Scott CBE
Having been "never very academic at school", John Scott has gone on to have a distinguished career as a sociologist, including being awarded a CBE in 2013 for Services to Social Science. He was given the BSA Distinguished Service for Sociology award in 2014, and an Honorary Doctorate of the University of Essex in 2016.
He approached us to redesign his website and bring in the blog he started writing, which at the time was separate from the website using Blogger. After an initial meeting to demonstrate how easy our content management system is to use, and discuss his preference for the look and feel, we worked with him remotely to build the new site and transfer the existing content into it.
